HUMANITARIAN PAROLE

WHO CAN APPLY: 

Humanitarian parole is a discretionary and temporary form of admission to the United States for individuals who have an urgent humanitarian reason or a significant public benefit to enter the country. 

Some examples are:

  • Processes for Cuban, Haitian, Nicaraguans and Venezuelans
  • Medical treatment for a life-threatening condition
  • Family reunification for a terminally ill relative
  • Protection from persecution or violence
  • Assistance with an adoption or child custody matter
  • Participation in a legal proceeding or investigation

WHAT DO I NEED TO APPLY:

  • USCIS Filing Fees or s Fee Waiver if applicable
  • Processes for Cuban, Haitian, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans fees are automatically waived
  • Needs a Financial  Supporter
  • Complete Forms I-130 and I-134 (Processes only need I-134)
  • Collect documents necessary to demonstrate eligibility (Documents vary from case to case)
